6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Maintenance
Remove stains on the mesh base with
a damp cloth and gentle cleaning
agent. Never use a scouring sponge
or scouring agents.
Dust the mesh base and leg frame
occasionally.
Air the mattress regularly but not in
strong sunlight or damp air.
Remove dust with a soft brush. Please
never use a vacuum cleaner or carpet
beater.
As part of Auping’s commitment to
caring for the environment the product
has been given a powder coating.
Some of this coating material can
drop off underneath the bed during the
first weeks of use. This is harmless
and easily removed.
Check the mattress regularly for signs
of wear or damage. Contact your
supplier if you find any damage.
Stains on the mattress can usually be
easily removed by following the tips
for spot removal on the following
page.
When cleaning your mattress, lay it on
its side and use as little water as
possible. Never use bleach or other
corrosive substances. Let the
mattress dry out thoroughly after
cleaning.
