5.6 Instructions for use
5.6.1 Light signals
The status of the battery charger is indicated by the green POWER LED and by the yellow
CHARGE LED.
The POWER LED (green) … Meaning
…is o󰓐. The battery charger is not powered.
… is on with steady light. The battery charger is powered.
The CHARGE LED (yellow) ... Meaning
…is o󰓐. The battery is fully charged or is not inserted.
... blinking (when inserting the
battery).
The battery is completely discharged.
… on with steady light. The battery is being recharged.
5.6.2 Recharge procedure
Follow this procedure to recharge batteries.
1. Power the battery charger (the POWER LED turns on with steady light).

insert the battery in its designated housing in the
Battery Charger.
a. Push the battery towards the contacts on the
Battery Charger.
b. Push the battery downwards.
Charge starts, and it is signalled by CHARGE
LED steady on (see paragraph 3.1 "Max. recharge
time").
NOTE: do not force insertion. The battery slides
easily into place and ensures that the positive (+)
and negative (-) poles are correctly connected
only if it is inserted with the plate facing the
compartment, so that the battery's contacts match
the Battery Charger 's contacts.
