For outdoor unit:
Pipe diameter of “1” depends onoutdoor unit capacity, which is Φ34.9/Φ19.05. Y-type branch pipe should
use thetype ofAFG-34B.
For indoor side:
1. Branch pipe include 6~11 and the dimension of pipe “6” is Φ15.88/Φ9.52, the dimension of pipe
“7~11” is Φ19.05/Φ9.52
2. Downstream indoor units of main pipe “5” include 5#6#. Its HP sum is “5×2=10HP”. Dimension of
pipe “9” is Φ22.2/Φ9.52. Branch pipe “e” should use AFG-12B.
3. Downstream indoor units of main pipe “4” include 4#~6#. Its HP sum is “5×3=15HP”. Dimension of
pipe “8” is Φ28.6/Φ12.7. Branch pipe “d” should use AFG-24B.
4. Downstream indoor units of main pipe “3” include 3#~6#. Its HP sum is “5×4=20HP”. Dimension of
pipe “7” is Φ28.6/Φ15.88. Branch pipe “c” should use AFG-24B.
5. Downstream indoor units of main pipe “2” include 3#~6#. Its HP sum is “5×5=25HP”. Dimension of
pipe “6” is Φ28.6/Φ15.88. Branch pipe “b” should use AFG-34B.
6. Downstream indoor units of main pipe “3” include 3#~6#. Its HP sum is “5×6=30HP”. Dimension of
pipe “5” is Φ34.9/Φ19.05. Branch pipe “a” should use AFG-34B.
Note:
Branch pipes must be placed horizontally, otherwise there will be distribution of refrigerant will be caused.
