The 6700 is capable of interfacing with an EIA
Standard RS-232, full duplex, asynchronous,
or smart device for output of weight data to an
ECR device. The 6700 9-pin style is capable
of RS-232 communication only.
Serial commands will be responded to only
when the scale is in the ‘normal’ operating
mode and Switch 1 on the main board is in the
CLOSED position.
Baud Rates:
1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, or 19.2K
Word Length: 10 Bits
1 Start, 7 Data, 1 Parity, 1 Stop
Parity: Even, Odd, or None
The scale is DTE.
