Preparation Before Painting / Installation
• A trial fit is recommended to ensure proper positioning and fit.
• Check fit of parts before painting as we will not accept the return of modified or painted parts.
• Wash and dry your vehicle to remove any debris and/or dirt from the installation area.

Installation Steps

Open hood.
Locate (6) square holes on underside of hood.
Phillips Screwdriver Tape

Important Safety Information
• CAUTION - Before driving, ensure that the hood shield is properly secured to vehicle.
• Do not use automatic “brush-style” car washes.
• Do not use cleaning solvents of any kind.
• Periodically check all components for tightness.

Installation Steps

Open Hood

Open the vehicle's hood to prepare for the installation process.

Locate Underside Holes

Identify the six square holes on the underside of the car hood for mounting.

Install Hood Inserts and Shield

Insert hood fasteners into holes and align the hood shield on the hood.

Secure Hood Shield

Fasten the hood shield using screws and washers, ensuring no over-tightening.

Adjust Bumper Stops

Adjust bumper stops to ensure the hood shield clears the grille and headlights.

Install Bump Ons

Close the hood and attach the bump ons to pre-cleaned locations on the hood surface.
