Powdercoatedparts-Usingnesandpaper,removetheoriginalpowdercoatingdowntothestainlesssteelsurfaceandcleanthe
partsbeforepainting,oruseaprimer.
Anodisedandchromatedparts-Useaprimer.
Uncoatedstainlesssteel-Nospecialpretreatmentisneeded,butmakesurethatthesurfaceiscleanbeforepainting.
Plastic-Useaprimer.
Repainting
1.Makesureallnecessarypreparationsofthecovertophavebeenmade,seePreparationsonpage3.
Note
Avoidgettingpaintonthemagnetsinsidethecovertop.
2.Applyathinandevenlayerofspraypaintaccordingtotheinstructionsofthepaintmanufacturer.
3.Letthepaintdry.
4.Togetabettercoverageandclearercolor,applyasecondlayerofspraypaint.
5.Whenthepaintisdry,reassembletheproduct.
