automaticallychangesmodefromdaytonightwhenverydark(level100intheslider).BysettingDay/Nightshiftleveltoa
lowervalue,thecamerawillchangetonightmodeearlier.

TheIRilluminationcanbeactivatedorde-activated,anditsintensitycanbeincreasedordecreasedbymovingtheslider,from
theproduct’sLiveViewpage.

De-selecttheEnableIRilluminationoptiontodisableIRilluminationaltogether.IfyoudisabletheSynchronizeIRilluminationwith
day/nightoption,IRilluminationwillnotbesynchronizedwithday/nightchanges.
ViewArea
Aviewareaisacroppedpartofthefullview.TheviewareaistreatedasavideosourceinLiveViewandhasitsownvideo
streamandPTZsettings.
Whensettingupaviewareaitisrecommendedthatthevideostreamresolutionisthesamesizeasorsmallerthantheviewarea
size.Settingthevideostreamresolutionlargerthantheviewareasizeimpliesdigitallyscaledupvideoaftersensorcapture,
requiringmorebandwidthwithoutaddingimageinformation.
Toenable,gotoVideo>CameraSettingsandselectEnableViewArea.
Toconguretheviewarea:
1.GotoVideo>ViewArea.
2.SelectanAspectratioandaVideostreamresolution.
3.Usethemousetomoveandresizetheviewarea.
4.SelectEnablePTZtoenabledigitalPTZfortheviewarea.
5.ClickSavetosavethesettings.
Note
ThePTZfunctionalityisusefulduringinstallationoftheAxisproduct.Useaviewareatocropoutaspecicpartofthe
fullview.
Overlay
Overlaysareusedtoprovideextrainformation,forexampleforforensicvideoanalysisorduringproductinstallationand
conguration.Overlaysaresuperimposedoverthevideostream.
Anoverlaytextcandisplaythecurrentdateandtime,oratextstring.Whenusingatextstring,modierscanbeusedtodisplay
informationsuchasthecurrentbitrateorthecurrentframerate.Forinformationaboutavailablemodiers,seeFileNaming&

Toenableoverlays:
1.GotoVideo>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.
2.Toincludeanoverlayimage,selectIncludeoverlayimageatthecoordinates.Theoverlayimagemustrstbeuploadedto
theAxisproduct,seeOverlayImage.
