areviewingclientsthatdonotsupportencryption,orifyouupgradedthermwareandexistingclientssupportencryptionbutneed
tologinagainandbeconguredtousethisfunctionality.
UnderUserSettings,selecttheEnableanonymousviewerloginoptiontoallowanonymoususersaccesstotheLiveViewpage.
DeselecttheEnableBasicSetupoptiontohidetheBasicSetupmenu.BasicSetupprovidesquickaccesstosettingsthatshouldbe
madebeforeusingtheAxisproduct.

ONVIF(OpenNetworkVideoInterfaceForum)isaglobalinterfacestandardthatmakesiteasierforendusers,integrators,consultants,
andmanufacturerstotakeadvantageofthepossibilitiesofferedbynetworkvideotechnology.ONVIFenablesinteroperablitybetween
differentvendorproducts,increasedexibility,reducedcostandfuture-proofsystems.
BycreatingauseryouautomaticallyenableONVIFcommunication.UsetheusernameandpasswordwithallONVIFcommunication

IPaddresslteringisenabledontheSystemOptions>Security>IPAddressFilterpage.Onceenabled,thelistedIPaddressare
allowedordeniedaccesstotheAxisproduct.SelectAlloworDenyfromthelistandclickApplytoenableIPaddressltering.
Theadministratorcanaddupto256IPaddressentriestothelist(asingleentrycancontainmultipleIPaddresses).
HTTPS
TheAxisproductsupportsencryptedbrowsingusingHTTPS.ThisisconguredontheSystemOptions>Security>HTTPSpage.
Aself-signedcerticatecanbeuseduntilaCerticateAuthority-issuedcerticatehasbeenobtained.ClickCreateself-signed
certicatetoinstallaself-signedcerticate.Althoughself-signedcerticatesarefreeandoffersomeprotection,truesecurityisonly
implementedaftertheinstallationofasignedcerticateissuedbyaCerticateAuthority.
ToobtainasignedcerticatefromanissuingCerticateAuthority,clickCreateCerticateRequest.Whenthesignedcerticate
isreturned,clickInstallsignedcerticatetoimportthecerticate.Thepropertiesofanycerticaterequestcurrentlyresidentin
theproductorinstalledcanbeviewedbyclickingProperties.
ToenableHTTPSintheAxisproduct,theHTTPSConnectionPolicymustbesetforeachusergroup.
