ExportVideoClip
RecordingsontheSDcardornetworksharecanbeexportedasvideoclips.Itispossibletoexportacompleterecordingora
partofarecording.

TheexportedrecordingisaMatroskavideole(.mkv).ToplaytherecordinginWindowsMediaPlayer,AXISMatroskaFile
Splittermustbeinstalled.AXISMatroskaFileSplittercanbedownloadedfromwww.axis.com/techsup/software

4.Bydefault,thecompleterecordingisselected.Toexportapartoftherecording,modifythestartandstoptimes.
5.Optionally,enteralenamefortherecording.
6.ClickExport.

RecordedvideosarelistedontheRecordings>Listpage.Thelistshowseachrecording’sstartdateandtime,durationandthe
eventthattriggeredtherecording.
Toplayordownloadarecording,followthesesteps:
1.GotoRecordings>List.
2.Usetheltertonarrowthelistofrecordings.EnterthedesiredltercriteriaandclickFilter.Someltersmaytake
alongtimetocomplete.
3.Selecttherecording.
4.ClickPlaytoplaytherecording,orclickDownloadtodownloadtherecording.
Multiplerecordingscanbedownloadedatthesametime.SelecttherecordingsandclickDownload.Thedownloadedleisaziple
containingaminimumofthreeles,ofwhichtheMatroska(mkv)lesaretheactualrecordings.Therecordingsaretime-stamped
withthedateandtimetheyweredownloaded(thatis,notthedatetherecordingsweremade).
