interface(API).

ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand

indicatesiftheyareenabled.

Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

SetUpAudio

Tochangetheproduct’saudiosettings,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettings.

Toincludetheaudiostreaminavideostream,gotoVideo&Audio>VideoStream.UndertheAudiotab,selectEnableaudio.

Eachstreamproleisaseparatevideostream.Toincludetheaudiostreaminallstreamproles,gototheaudiotabineachstream

Amulti-connectorcable(availablefromAxis;Multi-ConnectorCable(soldseparately))isrequiredwhenconnectingexternal

audioequipmenttotheAxisproduct.

AudioModes

TheAxisproductsupportsthefollowingaudiomodes:

•Fullduplex–Simultaneoustwo-wayaudioallowingtheAxisproducttotransmitandreceiveaudioatthesametime.

Thereisnoechocancellation;iffeedbackloopsappear,trymovingthemicrophoneorthespeaker.

•Half-duplex–AudiocanbetransmittedtoandfromtheAxisproductbutonlyinonedirectionatatime.Totransmit

audiousingtheLiveViewpage,usetheTalkandListenbuttons,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.

•Simplex–NetworkCameraspeakeronly-AudioistransmittedfromaclienttotheAxisproductandcanbeplayedby

aspeakerconnectedtotheproduct.TotransmitaudiousingtheLiveViewpage,theTalkandMicrophoneonbuttons

mustbothbeactive,seeAMCAudioControlsonpage12.

•Simplex–NetworkCameramicrophoneonly-Audiocapturedbytheproductmicrophoneistransmittedfromthe

Axisproducttooneormoreclients.

Tosettheaudiomode,gotoVideo&Audio>AudioSettingsandselectthedesiredmodefromtheAudiomodedrop-downlist.

AudioInput

AnexternalmicrophoneoralinesourcecanbeconnectedtotheAudio-inconnector.ConguretheaudioinputsettingsunderVideo

&Audio>AudioSettings.
