Resettofactorydefaultshouldbeusedwithcaution.Aresettofactorydefaultresetsallsettings,
includingtheIPaddress,tothefactorydefaultvalues.
Toresettheproducttothefactorydefaultsettings:
1.Pressandholdthecontrolbuttonandthepowerbuttonfor15–30secondsuntilthestatusLED
indicatorflashesamber.See.
2.ReleasethecontrolbuttonbutcontinuetoholddownthepowerbuttonuntilthestatusLED
indicatorturnsgreen.
3.Releasethepowerbuttonandassembletheproduct.
4.Theprocessisnowcomplete.Theproducthasbeenresettothefactorydefaultsettings.Ifno
DHCPserverisavailableonthenetwork,thedefaultIPaddressis192.168.0.90.
5.UsingtheinstallationandmanagementsoftwaretoolstoassignanIPaddress,setthepassword
andaccessthevideostream.
Itisalsopossibletoresetparameterstofactorydefaultthroughthewebinterface.GotoSettings>
System>MaintenanceandclickDefault.
Checkthecurrentfirmware
Firmwareisthesoftwarethatdeterminesthefunctionalityofnetworkdevices.Oneofyourfirstactions
whentroubleshootingaproblemshouldbetocheckthecurrentfirmwareversion.Thelatestversionmay
containacorrectionthatfixesyourparticularproblem.
