IfyourunAXISMotionGuardonbothchannelssimultaneously,itcanaffecttheframerateandthegeneralperformance.

Therefore,werecommendyoutoremoveallAXISMotionGuardprolesonthevisualchannel.

1.GotoSettings>AppsandopenAXISVideoMotionDetection.

2.SelectThermal.

3.CreateaprolenamedGateprofilethatcoverstheareaofinterest.Findoutmoreintheusermanualfor

Createthepresetpositions:

1.GotoSettings>PTZ>Presetpositions.

Bothchannelssharethesamepresetcongurations.

2.Createthehomepositionthatincludestheareaofinterest.

3.Createazoomed-inpresetposition,calledGateposition,thatcoverstheareaintheimagewhereyoupredict

thatthemovingobjectwillappear.

Createaruletozoominwiththevisualchannelwhenthethermalchanneldetectsmotion:

1.GotoSettings>System>Eventsandaddarule.

2.NametheruleGatekeeper.

3.Inthelistofconditions,underApplications,selectMotionGuard:Gateprole(Thermal).

4.Inthelistofactions,underPresetpositions,selectGotopresetposition.

5.UnderVideochannel,selectCamera1.

6.UnderPresetposition,selectGateposition.

7.SelectHometimeoutandsetthedurationforthecameratostayinthegateposition(waitatleast30secondsbefore

returningtohomeposition).

8.ClickSave.
