TheAXISCameraStationS20ApplianceSeriescomeswithanintegratedPoweroverEthernet(PoE)switch.Youcongureandmanage
thebuilt-inswitchfromawebpage.
Thepurposeoftheswitchistosegregatetrafconthenetworksothatsecuritycamerasandrelatedtrafcmanagedbytheswitch
(PoEportsandU1networkconnections)arenotsharedwithothernetworks.
Theswitch’spowermanagementfollowtheserules:
•Eachportreservespoweraccordingtotheconnectedpowereddevice’sPoEclass.
•Iftheactualpowerconsumptionforagivenportexceedsthereservedpowerforthatport,itwillshutdown.
•Portswillshutdownwhentheactualpowerconsumptionforallportsexceedsthetotalamountofpowerthatthe
powersupplycandeliver.Theportsarethenshutdownaccordingtotheportsprioritywherealowerportnumber
meanshigherpriority.

2.ClickGotoPoEswitchwebsite.
3.Loginwithusernameadminandpasswordsystem.
Thersttimeyouloginyou’llbepromptedtochangethepassword.

3.ClickRebootswitch.

YoucanlockaMACaddresstoaportsothatonlytrafccomingfromthatMACaddresswillpass.Thisimprovessecurityandprevents
unauthorizedusersfromconnectingalaptoporotherdevicestothesecuritynetwork.
