•Removethebatterycoverwiththetamperswitchnotbeingpressedonthedetector(testmode)

•Separatethemagnetfromthedetector.Thedetectorshouldthenash.

•Putthebatterycoverbackonthedetector,andthedetectorwillenternormalmode.

Ifyouhaveremovedthebatteries,wait5secondsbeforeyouretthem.

Operationalguidelines

•Duetothelimitedpowersuppliedfromthebatteries,thedevicemaynotoperatecontinuouslyforanextendedperiodof

time.Therefore,thesetuptimefordeviceshouldbeminimized,andrepeatedpressesofthetamperswitchshouldbe

avoided,inordertopreventincidentscausedbyaquickbatteryvoltagedrop.

•Youcanentertestmodebyreleasingthetamperswitch.Ifthemagneticsensoristriggeredduringthattime,thentheLED

willbeilluminated.Youcanconrmwhetherthetamperswitchhasbeenpressedproperlybytestingthisfunction.

•Whenthetamperswitchhasbeenpressedandthedevicehasenterednormalmode,theLEDwillnotbeilluminatedeven

ifthemagneticsensoristriggered,unlesslowbatteryisdetected.
