• Before installing and using Pete Clip, make sure you
read all the instrucons carefully.
• Keep these instrucons for future reference.
• Do not use improvised straps to hold the monitor as
they might create a restricon and choking hazards.
• Carry out the daily Performance Test for the Pete Clip,
as described in the secon “Daily Performance Test” below.
• Ensure that the device alarm can be heard by a caregiver
if baby is covered in clothing and/or blankets and in all
locaons throughout the place of care.
• Do not use if damaged, worn or funconing improperly.
• Do not use force to bend the clip and avoid applying
unnecessary pressure on the sensor pad (see Fig. H and
Fig. I on page 13).
• Be cauous while opening the device cover with the
opening tool supplied (as described in the secon
“Replacing the baery”).
Fing your monitor
Fing to a Diaper:
A properly fied diaper is essenal for the proper
funcon of your Pete Clip. Fasten the diaper with the
two stretchy tabs (Fig. B). The thin flap of material at
the top of the diaper must be folded over the fastened
tabs (Fig.C). To ensure reliable operaon verify that the
baby's diaper is fied snuggly. Aach the device on the
diaper as illustrated in Fig. D
The device should remain in good contact with baby's
tummy throughout the monitoring period (Fig. E and F).
