• Before installing and using Pete Clip, make sure you
read all the instrucons carefully.
• Keep these instrucons for future reference.
• Do not use improvised straps to hold the monitor as
they might create a restricon and choking hazards.
• Carry out the daily Performance Test for the Pete Clip,
as described in the secon “Daily Performance Test” below.
• Ensure that the device alarm can be heard by a caregiver
if baby is covered in clothing and/or blankets and in all
locaons throughout the place of care.
• Do not use if damaged, worn or funconing improperly.
• Do not use force to bend the clip and avoid applying
unnecessary pressure on the sensor pad (see Fig. H and
Fig. I on page 13).
• Be cauous while opening the device cover with the
opening tool supplied (as described in the secon
“Replacing the baery”).
Fing your monitor
Fing to a Diaper:
A properly fied diaper is essenal for the proper
funcon of your Pete Clip. Fasten the diaper with the
two stretchy tabs (Fig. B). The thin flap of material at
the top of the diaper must be folded over the fastened
tabs (Fig.C). To ensure reliable operaon verify that the
baby's diaper is fied snuggly. Aach the device on the
diaper as illustrated in Fig. D
The device should remain in good contact with baby's
tummy throughout the monitoring period (Fig. E and F).
