Why is my Bad Boy 1022H Tractor overheating?
- JjonesamandaAug 11, 2025
If your Bad Boy Tractor is overheating, several factors could be the cause. Begin by checking the coolant level and inspecting for any water leaks, replenishing as needed. A fatigued pressure valve spring might be the culprit, requiring a radiator cap replacement. Inspect the fan belt for looseness or damage, adjusting or replacing it as necessary. If the fan belt is oily, replace it. Other potential issues include a faulty thermostat (replace it), a failing water pump or water leaks (repair or replace), clogged water passages (clean the radiator and water passages), improper injection timing (adjust it), clogged air ways (clean the radiator exterior), or fuel gas entering the water jacket due to a broken cylinder gasket (inspect the cylinder head and replace the cylinder gasket).
