ABL2500 Limited Warranty
Balex® Marine Ltd warrants its new products to be free of failure resulting from defective material and workmanship under
normal use and service.
Limited Standard Warranty:
1. Balex provide a standard 2 year limited warranty for all recreational pleasure boats.
2. Balex provide a standard 1 year limited warranty for all commercial boats.
Limited Extended Warranty:
1. Balex provide an extended 2 year limited warranty for all recreational pleasure boats where an extended warranty is
purchased within 90 days of original purchase.
This warranty is subject to the following conditions and limitations:
1. This warranty will be null and void if
1.1. there is any neglect or failure to properly maintain and service the products.
1.2. the products are serviced, repaired or maintained improperly or by unauthorized persons.
1.3. loss or damage is attributed to any act, matter or omission beyond the reasonable control of BALEX or the
purchaser.
2. BALEX's liability shall be limited to repair or replacement (as determined by BALEX) of the goods or parts defective in
materials or workmanship.
3. All repairs will be completed at a Balex nominated service center and all freight costs will be met by the purchaser.
4. All defective parts claimed are to be kept for further inspection. Failure to return those parts upon request will
automatically void the warranty claim.
5. The repaired or replaced parts shall be guaranteed for the remainder of the warranty period.
6. The warranty period of the product shall not be extended due to the suspension of the use of the product because of
repair, examination, demonstration, or rental return.
7. The warranty ownership is transferable, provided the end-user has a copy of the original purchaser’s invoice.
8. Determination of the suitability of the product and the materials for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole
responsibility of the buyer, and BALEX shall have no responsibility in connection with such suitability.
9. BALEX shall not be liable for any loss, damages, harm or claim attributed to:
9.1. use of the products in applications for which the products are not intended.
9.2. corrosion, wear and tear or improper installation.
9.3. improper use of the product.
10. BALEX shall not be responsible for freight or shipping charges or installation labour associated with any warranty claims.
11. There are no warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or any other kind, express or implied, and none shall be
implied by law. If any such warranties are nonetheless implied by law for the benefit of the customer, they shall be
limited to a period defined by our Standard Limited Warranty from the original purchase by the user.
12. BALEX shall not be liable for consequential damages to any vessel, equipment, or other property or persons due to use
or installation of BALEX equipment.
13. This warranty sets out your specific legal rights allowed by BALEX, these may be varied by the laws of different countries.
In addition, the Purchaser may also have other legal rights which vary from country to country.
14. To make a claim under this warranty, contact your nearest BALEX Distributor or Authorized Dealer. Proof of purchase
and authorization from BALEX will be required prior to any repairs being attempted.
