(FOR MODEL 295 AC)
5. Install a 5000 PSI gauge on the pump
pressure test port (located at the PX port on
the upper valve bank).
6. With engine at full throttle, bottom out the
main boom (up) or the stick boom (in or out).
7. Loosen the lock nut and back the pressure
compensator adjustment screw on pump #1
out (counterclockwise) one full turn using a
13mm wrench. Note the pressure on the
gauge.
8. Loosen the lock nut and set the pressure
compensator adjustment screw on pump #2
to 3600 PSI (turn screw clockwise to
increase, counterclockwise to decrease)
using a13mm wrench. Tighten the lock nut.
9. Turn the pressure compensator adjustment
screw on pump #1 in (clockwise) until
pressure starts to increase. Then turn the
pressure back down so that it matches the
compensator pressure on pump #2, and
tighten the lock nut.
NOTE: The torque control is factory set and
generally will not require adjustment. Turning
the screw in (clockwise) will increase the load
on the engine by holding the pumps on
stroke at a higher pressure.
