2.2.10 READ CIRCUITS
2.2.10.1 READ INITIATE AND READ BLOCK DIAGRAM
The read circuits recover data recorded on the
Flexy
Disk by a write operation. A read opera-
tion is initiated from the host system by acti-
vating the following lines:
• SELECT/
• MOTOR ON/
selects the drive and loads the
head if Auto Head Load option
is used.

circuits. Fig. 2-35 shows the read initiate
timing. The read circuits shown on Fig. 2-34 com-
prise an integrated read amplifier system and the
necessary external components.
