Why is my Bauer 1632E-B Power Tool overheating?
- EErin EdwardsAug 2, 2025
Your Bauer Power Tool may be overheating because you are forcing the tool to work too fast, the chisel is dull or damaged, the motor housing vents are blocked, or the motor is being strained by a long or small diameter extension cord. To resolve this, allow the tool to work at its own rate, keep cutting chisels sharp and replace them as needed, wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and a NIOSH-approved dust mask/respirator while blowing dust out of the motor using compressed air, and eliminate the use of an extension cord (if one is needed, use one with the proper diameter for its length and load).
