o When you are making more than one cake, then it is advisable
to bake them in the oven one after another and do not allow the
oven to cool in between. You can reduce the baking time for the
second and subsequent cakes.
o It is preferable to use dark coloured baking ware, painted or
enamelled black, because these types of tins absorb heat better.
o When you are baking for a long time, you can switch off the
oven 10 minutes before the end of the required cooking time.
This will allow you to take advantage of the residual heat
generated by the oven to continue baking the cake.
