9.4 Check and replace ignition
and ionisation electrode
Risk of electric shock! Before performing service work, power to the boiler must be
shut off and it must be secured from accidentally being switched back on!
1. Remove front cladding and front side cladding
2. Fold up control box and secure with a lock (see Fig. 51 )

3. Disconnect ignition wire on the ignition transformer
4. Loosen the screws and remove the ignition and ionisation electrode (1) with
seal (2)

5. Check the setting of the ignition and ionisation electrode
Note: The electrode spacing must be 3±0.5 mm (see Fig. 55 )
6. If necessary, install new ignition and ionisation electrode in the reverse se-
quence
Note: When installing the ignition and ionisation electrode use a new seal.
7. Connect the ignition wire of the new ignition and ionisation electrode on the
ignition transformer
