4. Clean the heat exchanger with the cleaning rod (accessory) horizontal and ver-
tical
5. Remove fan, mixing adapter and burner pipe (see Section 9.3 Cleaning fan and
9.5 Cleaning burner pipe)
6. Reinstall the inspection cover with seal and insulation plate (see Steps 1 and 2)
Danger! Risk of life due to escaping exhaust gas! A damaged seal can lead to es-
cape of exhaust gas. Therefore replace any damaged seal!

7. Spray the heat exchanger through the burner opening from inside with gas
boiler cleaning agent
Risk of poisoning and chemical burns! Protective gloves and safety glasses or face
shield must be worn when using gas boiler cleaning agents! The surroundings
must be protected from escaping cleaning agent! In addition the safety and dis-
posal information from the cleaning agent manufacturer must be followed!
8. Rinse off dirt residue with water in the condensate trough
9. Reinstall the burner pipe, mixing adapter and fan
