Problem Cause Solution
Pump does not run
Blown Fuses
Overloads tripped
Faulty car wash programmer
Faulty motor
Faulty pump
Replace fuses
Reset overload switch
(located on field supplied Motor Starter)
Check programmer for damage
Replace motor (Belanger® Part No. 1MOTOR-
EL785 or 1MOTOR-EL979)
Replace pump (Belanger® Part No. 1PUMP937)
Pump runs rough
Fluid too hot
Air in water supply line
Excessive turbulence or vibration in tank
Inadequate fluid level in tank
Shut off machine to allow fluid to cool off
Purge airlines to remove bubbles
Make sure tank is sitting level
Increase fluid level
Drop in volume or
pressure
Air leak in suction line
Worn un-loader valve
Empty supply tank
Slipping drive belt
Worn Low Level Switch
Replace suction lines
Replace un-loader valve (Belanger® Part No.
1VALVE-WA715)
Refill fluid supply tank
Tighten or replace belt (Part No. 1BELT595 for the
10 HP Pump Station or 1BELT598 for the 15 HP
Pump Station)
Replace Low Level Switch (Belanger® Part No.
1ELECT-SW550)
Losing oil but do not
see any external
leakage
One of the diaphragms inside the pump
may be damaged
Replace diaphragm (Refer to Wanner™ Service
Section)
DO NOT OPERATE THE PUMP WITH A DAMAGED DIAPHRAGM.
