Drive Belt Replacement and Tightening
NOTE: For steps 1 to 3, see the images below.
1) At the MCC, turn off the systems Main Disconnect and lock it out.
2) Remove the belt guard.
3) Loosen the 4 bolts on the motor support. There are two bolts on the pivot side (A1 and A2) and two
bolts on the adjustment side (B1 and B2).
NOTE: For steps 4 and 5, see the image below.
4) Loosen the adjustment Jam Nut (C).
5) To replace the belts, lower the adjustment screw (D) with one wrench while holding nut (E) with
another wrench.
