TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION
The Cold Press Juicer
will not turn ON.
• The Cold Press Juicer ’s safety system prevents the unit from
operating unless the lid is completely and properly assembled.
The crushing auger’s top spindle must press against the lid;
the lid’s tab must be fully inserted into the slot in the upper rim
of the processing bowl.
•
Press the ON/OFF/REVERSE button to OFF (O).
Turn the locking lid to ensure lid is locked in place. (See Figure 6.)
• Thestainlessjuicestrainerandcrushingaugermaybeclogged
with pulp. Clean the juice strainer and rinse the crushing auger.
• Reassemble
Cold Press Juicer . Check to make sure the juice
strainer is properly seated.
• Checktomakesurethecrushingaugerisproperlyseated.
The
Cold Press Juicer has
stopped during juicing.
The juice strainer is blocked.
Food is jammed around
the crushing auger
and inside the base
of the processing bowl.
• PresstheON/OFF/REVERSEbuttontoREVERSE(==)
the direction of the crushing auger and then back to ON (—)
to resume operation.
• Cleanthestainlesssteeljuicestrainerandrinse
the crushing auger.
• Chopdensefruitsandvegetablesintosmallerpieces
to facilitate juicing.
