7. Push the choke lever to the RUN position as the engine warms up. The
choke is used to provide the proper air-fuel mixture when the engine is
cold. It is opened and closed manually by moving the choke lever to the
closed position to enrich the mixture for cold starting.
8. After 5 minutes, slowly push the throttle lever towards the MAX position for
self-priming and check the pump output. Pump output is controlled by
adjusting engine speed. Moving the throttle lever towards the MAX position
will increase pump output. Moving the throttle towards the MIN position will
decrease pump output.
Note
If the engine backres or does not start after repeated attempts, contact
customer support and do not attempt to use the pump.
