Adjusting surface fit
Manually correct geographic distortion by Surface Fit calibration function.
1. Press MENU/EXIT and then press / until the DISPLAY menu is highlighted.
2. Press to highlight Surface Fit and press MODE/ENTER. The Surface Fit
correction page displays.
3. Press / to select Horizontal and press MODE/ENTER.
4. Select the direction you want to adjust and press MODE/ENTER.
5. Press / to adjust the left or/and right side convex or concave. Single side
adjustment is for distortion only.
6. For both sides of the horizontal surface fit, use / to adjust the center of the
curve because it is not always at the center.
To continue with the vertical surface fit adjustment,
1. Press MENU/EXIT to go back to the surface fit page.
2. Press / to select Vertical and press MODE/ENTER.
3. Select the direction you want to adjust and press MODE/ENTER.
4. Press / to adjust the top or/and bottom side convex or concave. Single side
adjustment is for distortion only.
5. For both sides of the vertical surface fit, use / to adjust the center of the curve
because it is not always at the center.
