5.2 Ghost registrations
MUs with established RF connection that are not registered are still listed in the MU list
and receive a list position. This is done automatically by x status messages, which are
sent from the MU to the CU every 20 seconds. On such an x status message an SList[]
message is generated by the CU, which shows the list position assigned to the ghost
MU.
If the MUs registered as ghost MU are switched off, they remain in the MU list. Only bit 6
of the MU status is now unset, because the MU is not active anymore and thus does not
have any RF connection with the CU. This position of the internal MU list can now be
considered empty for all external use purposes (as registering a MU on it). The CU itself
will not clear it. It will keep it there as "ghost-offline" registration as long as other
positions are available. When no empty positions are available, the "offline-ghost"
positions are overwritten, starting with the lowest number.

All commands for registering ghost MUs described in the following can also be applied
to completely unregistered MUs.
5.2.1 Registering Ghost MUs as a
It is possible to fully register ghost MUs. As the following command shows, more detailed
information about the MU is required for this. This information can be taken from an
Communication direction
