æ Do not leave the ignition switch at the
position for an extended time with
the engine stopped, or the battery
may become totally discharged.
æ Do not leave the hazard lights
switched on for a long time without
the engine running or the battery will
become discharged.

æ Do not put any magnet close to the
right switch housing. It may aect the
electronic throttle sensor.

Engine Start/Stop Switch
To start the engine, refer to the
Starting the Engine section for starting
instructions.
To stop the engine in an emergency,
move the engine stop switch to the
position.
Ordinarily, the engine stop switch
must be in the position for the
motorcycle to operate.
