Helm
The steering, engine controls, engine instruments
and switches for exterior equipment, navigation
lights and other 12 volt DC accessories are located
on the helm station. Molded-in electronics storage
is located forward of the engine controls.
A storage compartment for small items is located
on the starboard side of the helm station.
A curtain snapped to the rear head compartment
bulkhead can be removed to service control and
steering system components or to install elec-
tronics.
Windshield
Your boat is equipped with a tinted, acrylic glass
windshield mounted to the front of the center
console. Acrylic glass can be damage by some
household or automotive glass cleaners. You
should observe the following precautions when
cleaning the windshield.
• Avoid using a dry cloth or typical glass clean-
ing solutions containing ammonia on acrylic
glass. Use a soft, clean cloth and mild soap
and water for routine cleaning.
• When operating the boat in saltwater, the
windshield should be washed after each use
with soap and water to keep it clean and re-
duce the possibility of damage from dried salt
on the glass.
• Never use strong solvents such as lacquer
thinner or acetone on the windshield. Strong
solvents and ammonia can permanently dam-
age acrylic glass.
Refer to the Routine Maintenance chapter for
additional information on the proper care and
maintenance of acrylic plastic glass.
