forward bilge is drained overboard by the forward
bilge pump.
Bow Fishbox/Storage Compartments
The forward shbox/storage compartments below
the port and starboard bow seats drain by gravity
to thru-hull ttings located in the hull sides above
the waterline.
Rope Locker
The rope locker drains overboard through two drain
ttings in the hull at the bottom of the locker. It is

The aft bilge pump is located in aft systems compart-
ment bilge near the transom. It is activated both
manually by a switch in the helm switch panel and
automatically by a switch integrated into the pump.
The forward bilge pump is located in the forward
in-oor compartment bilge. It is automatically ac-
tivated by a switch integrated into the pump.
The aft bilge pump should be manually activated
briey each time the boat is used. This will ensure
that the pump is operating properly and increase the
service life of the pump.
The automatic switches should be manually activated
periodically to verify operation. This is particularly
important before operating the boat oshore.
The automatic switches are activated by touching
and holding the test button on the side of the pump
until it activates (about ve seconds). The pumps
can also be activated by ooding the bilge with a
garden hose until they activate.
The automatic switches remain activated when the
battery switches are in the OFF position and the bat-
teries are connected. All bilge pumps pump water
out of thru-hull ttings located above the waterline
in the hull sides.
Notice:
See Electrical Systems for additional infor-
mation on bilge pump operation.
