What to do if BLACKMER LB362D has no flow?
    • B
      Brandon PittmanSep 7, 2025
If your BLACKMER Air Compressor has no flow, drain the liquid trap through the drain valve and relieve vacuum through the bleeder valve on top of the liquid trap. If excess flow valves are slugged, stop the compressor to allow them to open. You might need to install a valved bypass line between the suction and discharge lines.

What to do if my BLACKMER LB362D has no oil pressure?
    • C
      Christina GonzalesAug 22, 2025
If your BLACKMER Air Compressor shows no oil pressure, there are several potential causes. First, the oil pump might not be working; in this case, set the oil pump relief valve. Also, examine the oil pump drive tab or stop pin for any signs of damage. Check and replenish the oil level if it's low. Finally, a dirty inlet strainer can also cause this issue, so clean the inlet strainer.

Why does the relief valve actuate on my BLACKMER Air Compressor?
    • L
      Laura DavisSep 5, 2025
If the relief valve actuates in your BLACKMER Air Compressor, ensure that the valve downstream of the compressor is open. Also, check for and correct any line blockages downstream from the compressor.

What to do if BLACKMER Air Compressor has no oil pressure?
    • B
      Bradley FisherSep 3, 2025
If your BLACKMER Air Compressor has no oil pressure, start by setting the oil pump relief valve correctly. Then, inspect the oil pump drive tab or stop pin for any damage. Check the oil level and replenish if it's low. Lastly, clean the inlet strainer to ensure it is free from dirt.

How to fix low transfer rate in BLACKMER Air Compressor?
    • D
      danielbartonSep 2, 2025
To address a low transfer rate in your BLACKMER Air Compressor, begin by lubricating the 4-way valve with a compatible stick lubricant. If the issue persists, inspect the piston rings by restricting the discharge line; a slow pressure increase indicates faulty rings. Also, check for and clean any plugged strainers. Examine the compressor valve for damage, and adjust the liquid relief valves as per the instructions in "Valve Replacement". Ensure the compressor drive isn't slipping by tightening belts and checking for sheared or loose keys, or a loose flywheel. Finally, verify that the piping is correctly sized and installed.

What causes a BLACKMER LB362D Air Compressor open valve?
    • C
      Charlene BaxterAug 31, 2025
A BLACKMER Air Compressor open valve can be caused by a line blockage downstream of the compressor. Locate the blockage and correct it.

What causes improper mounting or vibration in a BLACKMER LB362D Air Compressor?
    • A
      Andrea PhillipsAug 30, 2025
Improper mounting or vibration in your BLACKMER Air Compressor can occur due to loose or broken mounting or anchor bolts; refer to 'Mounting the Compressor Unit' and ensure the base is fully supported. It can also be caused by improperly aligned V-belt sheaves; see 'V-Belt Drives'. Another potential cause is an improperly installed flywheel; consult 'Compressor Flywheel'. Additionally, faulty valves can contribute to vibration, so replace or repair them as needed.

What to do if my BLACKMER LB362D has excess flow?
    • C
      Christopher FarmerAug 29, 2025
If your BLACKMER Air Compressor experiences excess flow due to slugged flow valves, installing a valved bypass line between the suction and discharge lines may be necessary.

What to do if my BLACKMER Air Compressor has a liquid trap full?
    • B
      Bryan BooneAug 27, 2025
If the liquid trap in your BLACKMER Air Compressor is full, drain it through the drain valve and relieve vacuum through the bleeder valve on top of the liquid trap. You can also stop the compressor to let the excess flow open.

What to do if my BLACKMER LB362D Air Compressor has knocks or other noises?
    • N
      nelsonjeffreyAug 27, 2025
If your BLACKMER Air Compressor is making knocking or other unusual noises, it might be due to worn internal parts. Inspect the internal parts through the inspection plates and repair as necessary.
