3.1 Description of Machine
Blastrac BMP-E165 scarifiers are available with a 115 V electric motor.
BMP-E165 scarifiers with a working width of 7 inches are sturdy and powerful
machines that can be used only on horizontal surfaces.
The depth setting adjustment handle of the machine assures that the subsurface
is protected. Fitted with the appropriate scarifier cutters, the BMP-E165 scarifiers
can be used for various applications, for example:
• Scarifying concrete
• Cleaning only on horizontal surfaces
• Removing coatings and adhesives
• De-rusting metal surfaces, e.g. ship decks and tanks
• Grinding-away
• De-scaling
• Preparing surfaces for new coatings
The depth setting adjustment handle enables the efficiency of the appropriate
scarifier cutters to be maximized according to the material being removed.
