3.2 Electric Control Operating Elements
The electrical switchbox shown in Figure 3.2 for the BMP-E165 has a black On
button and a Red E-Stop/Off button.

On Button: This button is provided to turn the machine on. Before switching the
machine on, tip the machine back slightly to lift the scarifier drum off of the work
surface in order to prevent the motor from starting or coasting under a full load.
E-Stop/Off Button: This button is provided to turn the machine off. Prior to
turning the machine off tip the machine back slightly to lift scarifier drum off of the
work surface in order to prevent excessive wear to cutters when no actual work is
being accomplished.
