Selecting a monitor
Depending on the version, the TravelPilot DX-V is supplied with a detachable 16:9
monitor (wide screen) or a retractable 16:9 monitor (wide vision). If you want to con-
nect a TV/video source to the RGB input on the TravelPilot DX-V, you must activate
the “External video source” option. The wide vision monitor is equipped with a TV
tuner that works regardless of this setting.
1. Select the appropriate monitor version and press the
OK
button.
The selected monitor is indicated by a filled circle.
Note
The following operating instructions on “Selecting an external video
source”, “Switching to the video source” and “Selecting the display for-
mat” only apply to the 16:9 wide screen monitor.
Selecting an external video source
You have the option of connecting a video player or a DVD player using an adapter to
the RGB input of the TravelPilot DX-V. You can find out which adapters are available
for this from your authorised Blaupunkt dealer or from the Blaupunkt telephone hot-
line.
1. If you want to connect an external video source, select the “External video
source” menu item and press the
OK
button.
The external video source is activated if it appears with a tick mark alongside
it.
Switching to the video source
You can switch to the external video signal on the 16:9 wide screen monitor. The
external video signal can only be watched whilst the vehicle is stationary or is not
moving any faster than 4 mph.
1. Press the SRC button 4 on the monitor to switch between navigation mode
and the external video source.
