What to do if Blue Clean Pressure Washer unit will not turn on?
    • S
      Stephen PalmerJul 26, 2025
First, ensure the power washer is in the “OFF” position. Plug the electrical cord into a grounded 120-volt outlet, avoiding extension cords. If the outlet seems incompatible, it may not be properly grounded; try another outlet. Next, press the reset button on the GFCI power box. If the red color isn't visible in the small window, unplug and replug, then press reset again, ensuring the red color remains visible. If the red color stays, switch the power to “ON” and squeeze the spray gun trigger. If problems persist, try another outlet and repeat the process.

Check the water source. Unclog the nozzle on the lance or remove the lance and spray directly from the spray gun to determine if the lance is the problem.

Why does my Blue Clean AR383 Pressure Washer turn on for 2 seconds then shut off?
    • N
      Nancy WilsonAug 8, 2025
The water sensor in the pump detects moving water and automatically activates the power washer. When connected to water, properly assembled, and switched on, it might turn on briefly (1-2 seconds) to prime the pump. It then shuts off, awaiting the spray gun trigger. Pressing the trigger initiates water flow through the pump. Alternatively, switch the power off, hold the spray gun trigger to ensure a steady water stream, and simultaneously turn the power switch back on.

What to do if I can’t remove the lance from my Blue Clean AR383 spray gun?
    • H
      Hannah BurnsAug 13, 2025
To remove the lance, press the spray gun and lance together (about 1/8”) and turn counter clockwise. The lance will then slide out. Alternatively, hold the spray gun and lance upright with the nozzle end on the floor. Push the assembly straight down to loosen the connection, then try the removal process again. You can also spray soapy water or a lubricant where the lance connects to the spray gun.

Why is water leaking where the high pressure hose connects to the Blue Clean AR383 Pressure Washer spray gun?
    • A
      Alan AndersonAug 20, 2025
Water leakage at the high-pressure hose connection to the spray gun indicates a missing o-ring. Ensure there is an o-ring at the end of the metal tip of the high-pressure hose.
