Bed extension (domiflex model series)
The delivery for a lying surface extension consists of
the following parts:
- 2 adapter unit for the left and right foot part
- 1 extension piece for the foot part
1 set side rails
- Fixing screws
Proceed as follows to install the unit:
1. Remove the mattress from lying surface.
2. Remove the foot end piece.
3. Insert the adapter pieces at the foot end into the
lying surface frame and screw them together.
4. Place the wire bracket on the foot part, drill holes
(d = 4.2 mm) and screw them together.
5. Slide the foot end piece flush with the threaded
hole to the lying surface frame.
6. IMPORTANT: Make sure to read the labels at-
tached on the top and bottom of the side rails so
these may not be confused with each other.
7. Then hook the side rails into the pre-assembled
metal guides and arrange them.
8. Finally push on the end pieces completely and
screw them tightly.
Disassembly
Pull out the mains plug before disassembly. The disassembly of domiflex is conducted in
the reverse order of the assembly description.
4.3 Change of location
If the bed must be moved to another location, please follow these safety instructions:
– Bring the lying surface to the lowest position.
– Before conducting the movement, pull out the mains plug and attach it with the
suspension device to the frame to secure the power cable against falling and be-
ing crushed. Make sure that the cable is not dragged over the floor.
– Before inserted the mains plug again, inspect the power cable visually for me-
chanical damage (dents and kinks, abrasions and bare wires).
