3.4 Heart Rate Controlled Programmes

WARNING
Your training equipment is not a medical device. The heart rate measurement of this equipment
may be inaccurate. Various factors can aect the accuracy of the heart rate measurement. The
heart rate measurement serves only as a training aid.
A total of 3 heart rate-controlled programmes are available (speed limit: 9 km/h, 11 km/h, 13 km/h).
The hand pulse sensors of the treadmill must be covered during the programme. Alternatively, you
can use an optional chest strap.
1. When you are in the main menu, press the PROGRAM button to select one of the heart rate-
controlled programmes (HRC1, HRC2, HRC3). Conrm your selection with the MODE button.
2. Enter your age using the +/- buttons and conrm with the MODE button.
3. Set your desired target heart rate value using the +/- buttons (80-220) and conrm with the
MODE button.
4. Adjust the training time using the +/- buttons and conrm with the MODE button.
5. Press the START/PAUSE button to start training.
A countdown of 5 seconds is started.
Your heart rate is measured by the console every 30 seconds.
If the user’s heart rate is 30 beats/min below the target heart rate, the speed will increase by 2.0 km/h.
If the user’s heart rate is 6-29 beats/min below the target heart rate, the speed is increased by 1.0 km/h.
If the user’s heart rate is 30 beats/min above the target heart rate, the speed will be reduced by 2.0 km/h.
If the user’s heart rate is 6-29 beats/min higher than the target heart rate, the speed will be reduced by
1.0 km/h.
The user’s heart rate is above or below the target heart rate 0-5 times/minute, and the speed remains the
same.
L NOTICE
If there are problems measuring your heart rate or if your heart rate is too high, the console will
end the programme.
6. Press the START/PAUSE button to pause the training.
7. Press the START/PAUSE button again to continue the training.
8. Press the STOP button to end your training.
