Why is my Bomar Ergonomic 320.250 DGSH Saw cutting at a slant?
- AAnna DavidsonJul 30, 2025
If your Bomar Saw is producing slanted cuts, there are several potential causes. It could be due to wrongly adjusted or worn hard metal guides, or wrongly adjusted cubes of the saw band guiding. Other possible causes include worn bearings of the saw band guiding, a wrongly adjusted or worn swarf brush, insufficient saw band stretching, or a wrongly chosen tooth system for the saw band. A worn saw band, wrongly balanced roller conveyor, or a dirty feeding board could also be contributing factors. Additionally, check if the guiding arm and guiding cube are loosened or too far from the material. Finally, consider whether the cutting rate is too fast or if there are unexpected oscillations in material quality, and adjust accordingly.
