Why is my Bomar Workline 410.280 DG Saw making a slanting cut?
- JJose LindseyAug 12, 2025
A slanting cut on your Bomar Saw can occur due to several reasons. It might be caused by wrongly adjusted or worn hard metal guides, or wrongly adjusted cubes of the saw band guiding. Also, check for worn bearings of the saw band guiding or a wrongly adjusted swarf brush, and replace if worn. Ensure the saw band is sufficiently stretched and the tooth system is correct. A worn saw band, wrongly balanced roller conveyor, or a dirty feeding board can also contribute. Check that the guiding arm and cube are not loosened or too far from the material. Finally, adjust the cutting rate and speed to match the material to prevent oscillations.
