If voltage differs or is not present, the power in-
let socket connector or the connecting cables be-
tween the power inlet socket connector and pow-
er module 2 are defective.
3. Test the power inlet socket connector and the
connecting cables between the power inlet socket
connector and power module 2 and replace if
necessary.
4. Check mains voltage at power module 2 at
measuring points M1 and M2 (see sec. 5.6).
Mains voltage must be 230V.
If mains power deviates from this or is not pres-
ent, the device fuse is defective.
5. Replace power module 2 if mains voltage differs or
is not present at measuring points M1 and M2.
6. Check mains voltage at power module 1 at
measuring points M1 and M2 (see sec. 5.6).
Mains voltage must be 230V.
If mains power deviates from this or is not pres-
ent, the device fuse is defective.
7. Replace power module 1.
5.4 Malfunctions in charging mode
"Fault no.: 200"
Possible cause:
Maximum ampere-hour value exceeded
(> 120% rated capacity)
Remedy:
1. Check charging parameters and set them correctly if
necessary.
2. Check battery.
3. Only charge lead-acid batteries and lithium iron
phosphate batteries with a rated voltage of 12V or
24V.
"Fault no.: 210"
Possible cause:
Maximum charging time in charging phase 0 exceeded.
Remedy:
1. Check charging parameters and set them correctly if
necessary.
2. Check battery.
3. Only charge lead-acid batteries and lithium iron
phosphate batteries with a rated voltage of 12V or
24V.
"Fault no.: 220"
Possible cause:
Maximum charging time in charging phase 1 (constant
current) exceeded.
Remedy:
1. Check charging parameters and set them correctly if
necessary.
2. Check battery.
3. Only charge lead-acid batteries and lithium iron
phosphate batteries with a rated voltage of 12V or
24V.
"Fault no.: 230"
Possible cause:
Maximum charging time in charging phase 1 (constant
voltage) exceeded.
Remedy:
1. Check charging parameters and set them correctly if
necessary.
2. Check battery.
3. Only charge lead-acid batteries and lithium iron
phosphate batteries with a rated voltage of 12V or
24V.
"Fault no.: 290"
Possible cause:
General fault during charging.
Remedy:
1. Disconnect BAT 690 from power and restart
charging attempt with correct parameters.
2. Connect customer service circuit board M1 to power
module 1 and BAT 690 check function.
If BAT 690 functions, the M1 circuit board of the
customer is defective.
3. Replace the customer's M1 circuit board.
4. Define power module 1 with jumper setting as Slave
1 (see sec. 4.4.4).
5. Connect power module 2 to circuit board M1 and
BAT 690 check function.
If BAT 690 functions, power module 1 is defec-
tive.
If BAT 690 does not function, power module 1
and power module 2 are defective.
6. Replace power module 1 and/or power module 2.
