"Fault no.: 340"
Possible cause:
No current flowing despite request from controller.
Remedy:
DANGER – Risk of electric shock from live
parts. Observe the electrical engineering safety
regulations.
1. Remove connecting cable between power module 1
and power module 2 (Fig. 17, item 13).
2. Establish and secure connection between circuit
board M1 and power module 1 (see sec. 6).
3. Switch on BAT 690 and start back-up mode.
If the actual current value is displayed, power
module 1 functions.
If no actual current value is displayed, power
module 1 is defective.
4. Replace power module 1 if no actual current value is
displayed.
If the fault persists - check power module 2:
5. Connect circuit board M1 to power module 2.
6. Switch on BAT 690 and start back-up mode.
If the actual current value is displayed, power
module 2 functions.
If no actual current value is displayed, power
module 2 is defective.
7. Replace power module 2 if no actual current value is
displayed.
"Fault no.: 350"
Possible cause:
The charging current requested by the controller is not
supplied.
Remedy:
DANGER – Risk of electric shock from live
parts. Observe the electrical engineering safety
regulations.
1. Remove connecting cable between power module 1
and power module 2 (Fig. 17, item 13).
2. Establish and secure connection between circuit
board M1 and power module 1 (see sec. 6).
3. Switch on BAT 690 and set up back-up mode.
4. Set the parameter voltage to the maximum value.
5. Connect charging cables to the battery.
6. Start back-up mode.
If the actual current value is displayed, power
module 1 functions.
If no actual current value is displayed, power
module 1 is defective.
7. Replace power module 1 if no actual current value is
displayed.
If the fault persists - check power module 2:
8. Connect circuit board M1 to power module 2.
9. Switch on BAT 690 and set up back-up mode.
10. Set the parameter voltage to the maximum value.
11. Connect charging cables to the battery.
12. Start back-up mode.
If the actual current value is displayed, power
module 2 functions.
If no actual current value is displayed, power
module 2 is defective.
13. Replace power module 2 if no actual current value is
displayed.
"Fault no.: 360"
Possible cause:
Temperature in BAT 690 is above the maximum value.
Solution:
¶ Switch off BAT 690 and allow to cool down.
¶ Check ambient temperature.
! The ambient temperature must not exceed 45°C.
¶ Clean fan aperture on side wall of BAT 690.
¶ Clean cooling fins on power module.
¶ Replace power modules.
"Fault no.: 370"
Possible cause:
Temperature in BAT 690 is below the minimum value.
Solution:
¶ Check ambient temperature.
! The ambient temperature must not fall below -5°C.
¶ Replace power modules if the ambient temperature
is within the normal range.
