2. Product Description
2.1 Application
The high-performance rapid-start charger
(with electronic WU characteristic regulation
and adjustable battery charge current) can be
used to charge standard batteries and abso
-
lutely maintenance free batteries, along with
exhaustive discharge batteries with battery
capacities of 36 Ah to 400 Ah. With the rapid-
start charger you can also start up vehicles
equipped with sensitive electronic circuits.
The BSL 2470 is designed for use in auto
-
motive workshops, at the German Technical
Inspection Agency (TÜV), used-car dealers,
motor-vehicle fleets and filling stations.
The rapid-start charger is only suited for
charging standard and absolutely mainte
-
nance-free lead-acid batteries in perfect
working order with nominal voltages of 12 V
and 24 V.
