Adjusting the volume of the micro-
phone announcement
To adjust the volume,
f turn the volume control
1
while
microphone mode is active.
Note:
The microphone volume that was set
last remains stored in memory.
Background audio source in micro-
phone mode
You can set whether the current audio source
will continue to be heard in the background
during a microphone announcement:
f Press the MENU button 5 to open the
menu.
f Press the MENU button 5 repeatedly
until “MIC” and the current setting “EXC”
(exclusively microphone announcement)
or “MIX” (audio source audible) appear on
the display.
f Turn the volume control 1 counterclock-
wise or clockwise to switch between the
settings.
To close the menu,
f press the MENU button 5, repeatedly if
necessary.
You can adjust the volume of the background
audio source during a microphone announce-
ment:
f Press the or button 6.
During the adjustment process, “MIX” appears
in the display together with the relative volume
of the background audio source (from “0” to
“10”). “0” means that the background audio
source is muted; “10” means full volume of the
background audio source.
Connection cable
A microphone cable (part no. 8 649 494 020)
is available for connecting the microphone to
the device.
