Preparing for Operation
Extending the Saw Table (see figure F)
Long workpieces must be underlaid or support-
ed at their free end.
Loosen both Allen screws 42 with the Allen
key 21 provided.
Pull out the saw table extension 20 to the
stop and tighten the Allen screws again.
Mounting the Extension Bars (see figure G)
To extend the saw table additionally, extension
bars can be mounted both to the left or right of
the power tool.
Insert the extension bars 43 on both sides of
the power tool to the stop in the drill holes
19 intended for this purpose.
Tighten the screws for securing the exten-

Extending the Fence (see figure H)
For bevel angles, the fence extension 22 must
be moved.
Open clamping lever 30 and completely pull
out the fence extension 22.
Tighten the clamping lever again.
Clamping the Workpiece (see figure I)
To ensure optimum working safety, the work-

Do not saw workpieces that are too small to
clamp.

under the clamping lever of the quick-ac-

Push on the clamping lever 45 in order to
clamp the workpiece.
Adjusting the Cutting Angle
To ensure precise cuts, the basic adjustment of
the machine must be checked and adjusted as
necessary after intensive use (see “Checking
and Adjusting the Basic Adjustment”, page 43).
f Always tighten the locking knob 12 firmly
before sawing. Otherwise the saw blade can
become wedged in the workpiece.
Adjusting Horizontal Standard Mitre Angles

For quick and precise adjustment of commonly
used mitre angles, detents 14 have been provid-
ed for on the saw table:
Loosen the locking knob 12 in case it is tight-
ened.
Pull lever 13 and rotate the saw table 15 left
or right to the requested detent.
Release the lever again. The lever must be
felt to engage in the detent.
Adjusting Any Horizontal Mitre Angle

The horizontal mitre angle can be set in the
range from 52° (left side) to 52° (right side).
Loosen the locking knob 12 in case it is tight-
ened.
Pull lever 13 and at the same time push the
locking bracket 11 until it engages in the
groove intended for this. The saw table can
