1-6 Safety Instructions
CAUTION
Please comply with all ESD protection measures when using the
module! Prevent electrostatic discharges!
The following protective measures must be observed for modules and
components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD)!
• Personnel responsible for storage, transport, and handling must have
training in ESD protection.
• ESD-sensitive components must be stored and transported in the
prescribed protective packaging.
• ESD-sensitive components may only be handled at special ESD
workplaces.
• Personnel, working surfaces, as well as all equipment and tools which
may come into contact with ESD-sensitive components must have the
same potential (e.g. by grounding).
• Wear an approved grounding bracelet. The grounding bracelet must
be connected to the working surface via a cable with an integrated
1 MΩ resistor.
• ESD-sensitive components may by no means come into contact with
chargeable objects, including most plastic materials.
• When ESD-sensitive components are installed in or removed from a
device, the device must be de-energized.
