Replacing
the
remote
control
battery
When the remote stops operating
or
its range
seems reduced, it is time
to
change the remote
battery.
1.
Using a coin, turn the battery cover slightly
counterclockwise. When the cover comes off,
turn over the remote and
tap
it lightly on your
hand.
2.
Remove the used battery and place the
new
battery
in
the compartment. Be sure the new
battery is broad side up, with the
+ symbol in
view.
3.
Reseat the cover, with the slot at a slight angle,
and turn it clockwise until the slot is vertical.

• Keep the remote control battery
away
from children. It
may
cause a fire

chemical
burn
if
mishandled.

properly
• Remove your iPod from the
dock
and check for obstructions on the connectors
in
the
dock
and on your
iPod. Then reseat it
in
the dock.
• Insert the
dock
adapter provided with your iPod.
