Check

all
of
the
parts
shown
here. Save

for
possible future use in transporting
the

needed.
Place the Sound
Dock
Portable system on a firm
and
level surface
that is free from sand, dirt, and
other
debris. Exposure
to
such
ele-
ments
can jam
the
dock
and keep it from
opening
properly.
The system features shielded speakers
that
limit
the
possibility
of
video interference if you place it near a
computer
or
video screen.
Note: One unusual feature
of
this system
is
the
Bose®
proprietary
mechanism to isolate vibration.
You
may notice it as a slight movement
when you grasp the speaker.
This
feature actually
adds
stability
and
keeps the system from moving while it plays.
Whenever you
move
your
Sound
Dock
Portable system:
•
Make
sure
your
iPod is removed and
the
dock
on
the
front
is closed.
• Place
one
hand
in
the
grip
on
the
rear
of
the
system and lift.
• Use
the
other
hand
to
support
the
bottom
until you place
the
system
where you like.
