Cannot pair the
SoundLink
®
speaker
with my Bluetooth
®
device
Make sure your SoundLink
®
speaker is discoverable. Press and hold the Bluetooth
button (three seconds) until the Bluetooth indicator slowly flashes.
Make sure the Bluetooth capability of your Bluetooth device is turned on.
•Your Bluetooth device may be out of range – try moving it closer to the SoundLink
®
speaker.
Make sure your Bluetooth device supports the transfer of audio.
•Move your Bluetooth device and/or SoundLink
®
speaker away from other devices that
generate electromagnetic interference. Examples are cordless phones, microwave
ovens, wireless network routers, or other Bluetooth devices.
If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth
functionality.
Turn the SoundLink
®
speaker off and back on.
Refer to the owner’s guide, help system, or technical support for your mobile device to
learn how it pairs with other Bluetooth devices.
Reset the SoundLink
®
speaker: Press the mute button for 10 seconds. Your Bluetooth
device is disconnected and the SoundLink
®
speaker turns off. Then press Power to
turn the SoundLink
®
speaker back on.
Check for updated software for your Bluetooth device, or check owners.Bose.com for
software updates to the SoundLink
®
Wireless Mobile speaker.
Poor sound quality
from the AUX source
Reduce the volume level on the AUX source.
Make sure the 3 mm plug is fully inserted into the SoundLink
®
speaker.
